Duttons for Buttons

I went to the historic city of York last week and visited this special shop in a medieval building.

It's called "Duttons" for buttons (best said in a West country accent for fun) and this is why.....

It wasn't as cheap as I was hoping it would be but then I guess you would have to sell an awfull lot of buttons to cover your rent.

I did find some trim though that looks alot like Websters Bloomers but a bit wider and seeing as there is no chance of anyone stocking that in the UK, I bought the next best thing. There are all sorts of colours of this out at CHA at the moment......mmm peaches and cream....

"Ain't is just sooo preddy!!"

Love and buttons

OOOOOOO It's one of my favourite haunts. I last went before a visit to Harrogate and spent loads, not on buttons but lace and velvet ribbon. It's a yummy shop! x PS love the trims. x
