Simple is sometimes best...

Primas Annalee-Avondale papers from Happy Daze are so pretty they can just be used on their own with a simple mat and some scalloped borders from the Parlour range.

Georgias dress is full of flowers so I really didn't need to embellish this pretty paper any more than it already was.
Apart from making a lace flower for the corner and using a Prima centre on it.

As the flowers are printed on both corners I like to use a craft knife to cut around the edges of them and overlap them onto the photo, rather than avoid or cover them over.
Love and lazy Sundays

As always, Ruth, your pages are sumptuously lovely...and your sweet little girl is one of the most adorable I've ever seen (except for mine, of course!)

Hope you're having a beautiful day!

Hi Ruth I feel awful it is such a time that I have not left you any comments and it is not that I have not been looking as I have. Work was getting in the way, however I have another week off so plenty of time to catch up. Love that lace flower especially now how I know how to do them thanks to you. Love all the lovely flowers and her dress is gorgeous with the colours and flowers on that too so perfectly matched to such a bonny young lass
hope your well and take care

Beautiful! I'm going to try cutting the inside edges of the flowers, great tip!

Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog. Much appreciated!
