DECO DECANTED

Mum and Dad are involved in these ART DECO Celebrations every year, and about 5 years ago they started having a winter one as well. The weekend is called Deco Decanted as it is a smaller version on the summer one.

I think the hat mum is wearing belonged to my Great Grandmother. Dad likes to wear authentic clothing as well, but it's getting harder to find because prices are going sky high due to collecters.

This is my fourth page and I am trying to get them all finished, it makes sense to carry on because I have all of the papers and embellies spread out in the kitchen!!
I stickled the flowers and flourishes to add bling and also chalk inked the letters to get them to match (some were pink, brown and blue!)I stickled the letters but later regretted it because they look purple and green due to the glitter. Oh well you live and learn...I should've done a test piece!!

I have had my CIRCA 1920 page published on the BASIC GREY website in GALLERY which is a first for me but on the other hand I have had the other pages and my BEN book rejected! Guess you can't win them all!!

This book is building up to be a real treasure.

Don't know why your BEN book was rejected - I wouldn't have done that!

Another gorgeous page for the album, and I wouldn't worry about the submissions to BG, they don't take them all if you upload them all at the same time, you are better off just submitting one at a time, much more likely to get accepted !

Have a great week XXX
