Arch - de - triumph

This project has been a bit of a triumph for both Georgia and I for personal reasons.....either way it feels good to be scrapping again!

When closed it reads "Live your dreams like a star".

When open it reads "Georgia you rock....you are my star"

I tried to fill it with positive messages. (This is not about being famous......oh no far from it!!)

Small details: Liquid Pearls, altered Prima Butterflies and  Handmade Mulberry flowers...tutorial coming soon.

Websters Pages paper pack from Happy Daze.......my advice buy the whole pack as soon as they get each range in and then just go for it!!
Accessories and single 12x12 pages available HERE from 90p each.

The back of the arches is a Christmas Photo but I liked her wings.....and the sides are actually the front...if you know what I mean!!

I glued wooden beads onto the base to create feet.

Magpie collector - Dangly Things Challenge @ Happy Daze

I can't resist keeping shiny and broken things.....just like a Magpie!!

So when I discovered these beautiful
I remembered my collection of Antique Bronze broken jewellery pieces, and using some head pins, joined some beads and the birdcage etc together.

Happy Daze have a challenge running at the moment called Dangly Things with a £15.00 voucher for the winner.......click HERE and good luck!!

Make do and Mend with Websters Fabric Ribbons

"Why there is a recession on! Didn't you know?"

I started with these rather shameful bling-less sandals that although were once very pretty, had become a source of embarrassment no matter how many types of different wonder glues I used on the glass beads!

The Fabric is Websters Pages Fabric Ribbon which is actually a printed canvas and very strong and versatile. It can be found here at Happy Daze.

The flowers are wired along the edge of the lace and gathered up with a collection of pearls.

Blowing Bubbles with Ben

The one thing I am always fascinated with in my little boy is that he always puts his heart and soul into figuring out exactly how things work and he never gives up.

These Websters Pages Wonderfall Collection papers combined with Ephemera from Happy Daze embrace the sort of adventurous outdoors life that boys love so much.

I added the images to fill in the white space and layered them where needed.

..and finished off the title with some bunting flags.
The epoxy stickers are beautifully detailed and are from the Pink Paislee Butterfly Collection.

Altered Tin

I found this little tin in a charity shop back in February when Georgia was in hospital, it had a vintage postcard style picture glued onto it but it had faded over the years (probably only since the late 1980's to early 1990's..lol!).

After soaking and de-greasing it I glued on the front picture taken from a Pink Paislee sheet from the Butterfly Garden Collection at Happy Daze.

The silver tassel is from Happy Daze and their current Dangly Things challenge theme along with attending a beading jewellery course inspired me to use up some bling for the top.
Thanks once again to the kind ladies at my work and my mother in law who keep on donating me their broken and unwanted jewellery.
